The best way to get an overall idea of an experience is to see it with your own eyes. I just got back from a 6 day mountain bike stage race in Brazil!
Claro Brasil Ride has some really great videographers they brought in that braved sitting on the back of dirt bikes in the rain, video shots from a helicopter, you name it! Every night after dinner, they would play the video recap of the day. Stages 1-6 are on youtube. Check ’em out!! I’ll admit it… they make me tear up. I’m such a girl.

I will be doing a day by day recap since I’m a little more long winded in general than him. I also did some personal hand written journal entries the first couple of days. They are pretty raw, and some of them are kind of brutal. They portray how hard stage racing can be. I’m thinking about podcasting them… if there is an interest. Anyone? Bueller?
