Postcards from the Weekend: The Lumineers at Red Rocks

It’s summertime, which means we’re spending our nights and weekends enjoying our favorite outdoor activities, like catching shows (and sweet views of Denver’s nighttime cityscape) at Red Rocks Amphitheater. Last week, we took in the final night of a two-night sold-out Red Rocks  run by the The Lumineers, who are currently on tour to support their new album Cleopatra. In a two-hour set, the Denver-based band played new and old favorites for their hometown fans, rattling off hits like “Ho Hey” and “Ophelia” before moving into the stands to play “Where the Skies are Blue” and a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Subterranean Homesick Blues.” Perfect weather and a great way to kick off the summer concert series at Red Rocks, which is celebrating it’s 75th anniversary this year.
