ACG x Helinox Put Orange on the Zero LT Chair and Table

The super sleek and sure-to-sell-out ACG x Helinox colab launched on Nov. 2…a limited-edition collection of ultralight camp furniture and a pack finished in ACG’s signature orange.

The collection has three pieces: ACG editions of the Chair Zero LT and Table Zero LT, plus a Camp Sack, all with custom ACG detailing. I haven’t handled the collection yet, so the details here come from Helinox’s announcement out of Seoul, but I was one of the first testers of Helinox when the brand came to the U.S. via Big Agnes around 2011. Helinox says it is the brand that created the category of lightweight, packable furniture, and it would be hard to argue with that.

Founded in 2009, it pioneered the ultralight outdoor seating category, according to the company, with the launch of its sub-one kilogram Chair One in 2012. Helinox said every product is built on the structural engineering of DAC, a specialist in high-strength aluminum alloys. I had some of the first Helinox chair samples and they are still functional. A few cords have worn out over time and the fabric has a few burns from campfires, but they are still in rotation. In my view, Helinox’s innovations in design and weight have truly changed the game for space-conscious and weight-conscious travelers, including backpackers, motorcycle touring, and other lightweight aficionados.

Helinox said it and ACG share an appreciation for purposeful design and time spent outdoors. The original Chair Zero LT and Table Zero LT both won the Red Dot Award: Product Design, and both use Ghostgrid, a translucent monofilament mesh with a reinforced ripstop grid that Helinox developed to combine low weight with abrasion resistance and durability. The cots are also quite revolutionary.

ACG x Helinox Chair Zero LT

The chair weighs 1 pound, 3 ounces (534 grams) packed and holds up to 265 pounds (120 kilograms) assembled. Its shock-corded frame is DAC’s TH72M aluminum alloy with nylon resin hubs. Reinforced corners hold and support the Ghostgrid on the frame, and the X-Strap adds surface area contact for stability on soft or uneven ground. The ACG edition has a black Ghostgrid seat, a limited-edition collection badge and an orange alloy frame. MSRP is $169.95.

ACG x Helinox Table Zero LT

The Table Zero LT is Helinox’s lightest table, weighing 9 ounces (254 grams) packed and holding up to 22 pounds (10 kilograms) assembled. Helinox built it for backpacking, bikepacking, ADV moto and other trips where space and weight are at a premium, and said it assembles in seconds. The ACG version matches the chair with an orange DAC aluminum alloy frame and a black Ghostgrid surface carrying the collaboration badge. Helinox said the table and chair together make a compact, lightweight setup for rest stops and time at camp. MSRP is $159.95.

ACG x Helinox Camp Sack

The 17-liter Camp Sack is made from bluesign-certified 50D nylon ripstop and 300D ripstop, weighs 4.5 ounces (134 grams) and packs flat when empty. It has a main compartment and two exterior stash pockets. The ACG x Helinox edition comes in white with orange accents and the co-branded badge. MSRP is $39.95.
