Postcards From the Weekend: Where Men and Mountains Meet

Mother Nature is a Denver Broncos fan. All it takes is one look at a sunset over the Colorado mountains to see that. But Sundays aren’t just for football. And they’re not just about spending time worshipping inside of a church. Sunday traditions span the gamut, but for me, Sundays are all about breathing in some fresh air outside. They’re about exploring new trails and seeing new life. They’re about checking on the progress of the change in the seasons, and taking visual snapshots that will get you through the week — through whatever 9-5, or desk job, or cubicle that holds you hostage every Monday through Friday. It’s about losing track of time and gaining new entries in the memory bank. At the end of the day, Sunday Funday is about being free.
