Find the Big Agnes Gear for Your Summer Escape

As an outdoor company based in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, with mountains and the Yampa River right outside our office, we are inspired daily by our experiences outside.  At our core, we want to inspire you to get outside and find your own appreciation for the backcountry like we have.

We started Big Agnes almost twenty years ago without a real plan, but with a pretty good idea: to make the best gear possible to help folks like you get outside and chase your dreams. And this season, camping has never felt so good. Whatever your style, it’s time to get out, get dirty, but always be comfy. Whether you sleep hot, cold, on your side or tummy, like to snuggle or roll solo…. we’ve got the gear you need to wake up ready to tackle the adventure of the day. Sleep under the stars in your customized campsite with our line of deluxe tents, cozy bags, and cushy air pads and accessories that are easy to pack, simple to setup, and will make for some happy camping all season long.

The Dog House car-camping tents are a campground favorite for good reason. New for 2020, these are the perfect sized shelter for housing the whole family under one “roof”. Big enough for rainy afternoon card games under cover or for road trippin’ when you want a shelter tall enough to stand up in. With plenty of ventilation and easy setup, these tents (available in 4p and 6p designs) are an incredible value for all your summer camping adventures.

Salt Creek superlight tents bring three-door views to any campsite you want to pitch. Light enough to carry in your backpack but roomy and comfy enough to be your one go-to tent for all backcountry overnights. The front-door fly can be pitched into an awning for extra shade or covered gear storage. This tent has become a staff favorite at Big Agnes!

We’re committed to making sleeping bags that mimic your cozy bed at home as much as possible with the highest quality, lofty fills and soft, technical fabrics. We make bags to fit all shapes, sizes, budgets, couches, floors, truck beds, tents, and dirt. If you can sleep there, we’ve got a bag for you. While we can’t guarantee your eight hours of dream-filled bliss each night, we can guarantee that we’ve designed these bags to generate some serious zzzzzzzz’s.

New for 2020 the Torchlight Expandable Mummy bags offer lofty down insulation with an easy side-zipper panel that can be adjusted to give an extra 10” of space in the bag.

If you find yourself in Steamboat Springs this summer, be sure to stop by our retail location and sister company, BAP, the little red house on Oak street. Our staff there would be happy to talk gear, the best trails, and even make some locals’ favorite recommendations for you.
