Updates from The Running Event

Runners exist in their own little world. From the lingo (Tempos? Strides? Fartleks?) to the gear (To zero drop or not to zero drop?) to the hours upon hours of grueling training (“Sorry I can’t come to your party, I have a long run in the morning”), no one quite understands the running life from outside the bubble. That’s ok; half the time, it doesn’t make total sense from the inside either. We’re content to suffer the eyerolls and save our most niche topics of discussion for the safety of start lines and Reddit forums. But there’s nothing like coming together with a crew of other likeminded folk who get what you’re talking about without explanation—and maybe even nod along in sympathy.

That’s exactly what The Running Event is for. The name says it all: all things running, all in one place. Runners and the entities that support them—brands, retailers, race directors, and more—come together in Austin, Texas to learn, teach, connect, and just celebrate the sheer joy of running.

In case you missed TRE this year, catch these updates from top brands and organizations in the running sphere.
