Time period that Karen Skillen has given herself to ski as many countries as possible to raise funds and awareness for disabled sports organizations.

“It’s amazing how many people don’t know that disabled sports organizations exist, let alone things like adaptive skiing,”

she says. Since starting her quest in July, 48-year-old Skillen has skied six countries in the Southern Hemisphere. She’ll be in the Middle East when this issue goes to print, and will hit Colorado — Aspen, Vail and Steamboat — in April. To get involved and learn more go to: skitheworldforall.com
