Hot Off The Press: The December Issue of Elevation Outdoors is Live!

NewIssue_PrintDig_EO_1214

The December issue of Elevation Outdoors magazine is live and on a newsstand for FREE near you now.

The holiday season is upon us, and whether you are immersed in consumerism, just looking for some gear tog et you through the season, or want to rethink the way you give, we have you covered. Our Winter Peak Gear Awards are here, and the EO staff hands out the hardware to the stuff that we  use, abuse, and love the most. This is a new breed of gear award that truly represents the gear that gets us through our outdoor adventures. We also feature a special His?her gift guide, with editors recommending the best items for the outdoor dude or lady in your life. On the non-consumer side of the spectrum, our Good Giving Guide features non profits working to make the planet a better place. Give to them if you don’t believe in all this stuff (and even if you do).

It’s not all gear here. We also run down how Colorado resorts have dealt with a year of legal weed on the slopes. Pete Takeda tells what it takes to survive as a pro climber who has taken harrowing falls and spent days trapped by an avalanche in an ice cave in the Himalayas. Peter Kray gives advice on how you too can piss people off by becoming a publish writer. We give the beta on how to find the best Colorado hot springs for post-snowsports soaks. We offers up free GPS coordinates to take the family snowshoeing at Rocky Mountain National Park. And much more. Join us.

And let us know what you think either here or on Facebook.
