About [wpbb post:title]:

In the 1800s, prospectors flooded what was to become Breckenridge, Colorado with the hopes of striking gold (and they found it). Today, travelers discover an adventurous mountain community that feels historic yet timeless. Breckenridge is where old-school charm and new-school modern amenities merge with close to 200 shops, restaurants and tap houses showcasing endless character. As one of the nation’s premier year-round destinations, Breckenridge visitors feel welcome and, when here, feel local.

Breckenridge Ski Resort’s high elevation, cooler temperatures and low humidity combine to provide ideal conditions for early season snowmaking and snowfall, and the perfect environment to capture and hold onto snow well into late-April.

Craft beer and spirits, the made-in-Breckenridge trend, began in ‘90s with the Breckenridge Brewery. Today, that’s expanded to include bourbon, vodka, rum and bitters at Breckenridge Distillery, more than 12 taps at the award-winning Broken Compass Brewery and wine- blending classes at the Continental Divide Winery

The League of American Bicyclists awarded Breckenridge the gold level in their ranking of the most Bicycle Friendly Communities in North America. Breckenridge is one of the smallest communities to hold the designation. The town of Breckenridge manages some 50 miles of multi-use trails used year-round — this number doesn’t include 100+ miles of connecting trails, including a section of the famed Colorado Trail.
