Angel Fire Resort to Offer $99 Season Pass For Teachers

New Mexico’s Angel Fire Resort is set to kick off the 2018-2019 winter season by offering a brand new season pass: The Teacher Pass. The pass will be sold at $99 (discounted from $419 for the resort’s adult season pass) to teachers actively teaching K-12 classes.

“With school starting back up there’s no better time to offer teachers a discount on our season pass,” said Robin May, Ski and Snowboard School Director at Angel Fire Resort. “We know as classes begin many teachers have to plan their holiday plans well in advance. We’re offering the Teacher Season Pass early in the year to help educators as they begin planning their winter holidays.”

The Teacher Pass will be sold at the special introductory price of $99 through December 13, and for $199 for the rest of the season. The pass will not have any blackout dates, and will include discounts on lodging at the resort during select dates throughout the season.

“We can’t thank teachers enough for the incredible work they do educating children. Their lives are dedicated to work that is often overlooked,” said May. “We wanted a way to thank them for all they’re doing for our kids by offering them an value driven opportunity to ski or snowboard at our mountain.”

The Teacher Pass, which is designed to thank educators and provide teachers with an affordable, easy-to-use ski pass option, is thought to the be the first of its kind.

Angel Fire Resort is a small ski destination in Northern New Mexico that features more than 80 runs, three ski and ride terrain parks, and 30-plus acres of gladed trails.
