Thule’s City to Summit platform proves user friendly.
Swedish brand Thule’s response to the new era of Zoom is its City to Summit product showcase, a virtual platform and experience aimed at showcasing the brand, new products, and retail merchandising solutions. To overcome the limitations of virtual platforms (such as rep-lead live feeds and text-heavy electronic press releases), the showcase provides a user-navigated website experience.
With its Connecticut-based facility as the virtual backdrop, Thule presents a global online sales tool with a 360-degree virtual walkthrough of the retail showroom and product vignettes. “The real goal for this is to give our visitors the flexibility to dive as deep as they want into our products,” says Chris Ritchie, Thule’s communications manager.
Debuted at the 2019 Outdoor Retailer Summer Market, the platform is continuing into the next calendar year, currently featuring Thule’s 2021 product lineup, and is available to authorized Thule dealers and media.
