Quench your wanderlust with Fjällräven Classic TV

Fjällräven founder Åke Nordin heartily believed life is more about the journey than the destination: “We’ve been trekking for the past 50 years,” he’s often quoted as saying. “Hopefully, we will never get there.”

That spirit of adventure is lived out each year through the brand’s annual Fjällräven Classic trekking events, which are open to the public and welcome first-time hikers and veteran outdoor enthusiasts alike. On its surface, the Classic is a three-to-four-day backpacking outing led by Fjällräven brand ambassadors. Dig deeper though, and it’s an introduction to experiencing nature more fully—and doing that with friends new and old. In a typical year, the hikes are held across the globe in Sweden, Korea, the United States, and more.

Of course, 2020 has not been a typical year.

So this year, rather than bringing its community members out to the events, Fjällräven is bringing the events to its community members through Fjällräven Classic TV. Dubbed the “most inclusive trekking experience ever,” the hikes are filmed from the hiker’s vantage point, giving viewers a chance to get as close as possible to being out there on the trail themselves.

Check them out on the Fjällräven YouTube Channel and experience the natural beauty of faraway places like Sweden, China, Denmark, Germany or the UK. Or you can stay closer to home and enjoy a virtual hike through the Colorado mountains.
