Intrepid editor and adventure traveler Aaron H. Bible is heading to Iceland today to climb the country’s largest glacier and highest peak: Hvannadalshnukur. This is a single-day glacier climb renowned for its views and also for its ski descents. Tune back in here for posts from the trip…we will take a look at Icelantic culture, snowfield climbing, hot springs, and other other tales of adventure we can stir up. After all, Iceland is known to have one of the most educated and most cynical populations in the world. Who would have thought that most of them also believe the country is inhabited by gnomes?
