Registration Now Open for the 5th Annual Grand Junction Off-Road and Downtown Music Festival

For most mountain bikers snowed-in or rained-out of their trails for the winter, celebrating the New Year is more about looking forward to the next riding season and setting goals; some serious, some not so serious. Whatever those riding goals may be, the Grand Junction Off-Road has been attracting riders of all skill levels, fitness and experience levels by offering events focused on good times, great trails and free live music.

To get the New Year off to a rolling start, Epic Rides has opened registration for all three Off-Road Series events, the Whiskey Off-Road (April 28-30), the Grand Junction Off-Road (May 19-21) and the Carson City Off-Road (June 16-18.) And from January 1st through January 7th, is offering a registration discount for each of the three Off-Road Series events at $99 (retail value of $120).

Celebrating its fifth year, the Grand has earned a reputation for being one of the most technically challenging backcountry mountain bike events in the United States. Capped at 750 registrants (and expected to fill fast), riders will choose to enjoy a 15-mile, 30-mile, or 40-mile loop, starting and finishing in downtown Grand Junction, on a course with no shortage with rocky terrain favoring riders who can pick and flow their way over technical lines.

Whether beginner or seasoned expert, all participants that complete and Off-Road Series event will feel the accomplishment that comes with doing a huge backcountry ride, and be rewarded for their achievement with a steady stream of schwag, sponsor product, free music and librations. Each event has a three action-packed days of music, a massive bike industry expo and lots of fun activities for the entire family to enjoy.

The Grand Junction Off-Road boasted four stages with over 20 shows, needless to say the tunes were plentiful and the vibes were strong.
