Recap of ROAR in the City

This year’s ROAR in the City in Colorado Springs was a huge success, so if you weren’t a part of it this year, you definitely need to sign up for next year’s event.

ROAR in the City is an event put on by UpaDowna and it is an event that takes participants throughout the city of Colorado Springs to test their physical and mental ability with different obstacles. In order to complete the course, teams must gather and solve clues while getting to know their city better by seeing parts of it that participants wouldn’t normally see.

This year, ROAR in the City in Colorado Springs had 35 teams of all ages and abilities sign up, and it took the teams an average of 3.5 hours and 13 miles to complete the big course. Participants described the event this year as: “It was quirky and fun,” and “the adventure, seeing different parts of the city,” and “I enjoyed seeing parts of town that I otherwise would not have. I also really enjoyed all of the tasks we had to complete.”
