Account Executive – Summit Publishing

Summit Publishing – a media company in Charlottesville, VA – is looking for an outside sales representative to handle advertising sales for 3 outdoor lifestyle magazines and their respective websites: Blue Ridge Outdoors, Elevation Outdoors and Breathe Magazine. This sales executive would be working with both existing and new customers, developing integrated marketing campaigns to include print, web, and email advertising; promotions; custom publishing and event marketing.

Responsibilities

- Outside sales developing local and regional accounts throughout the Southeast for Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine and Breathe Magazine; and nationally for Elevation Outdoors Magazine.

- Weekly day travel expected to develop territory with attention to Washington, DC; Richmond, VA; Roanoke, VA and Central VA.

- Manage and grow current accounts as well as add new business.

- Develop new national account business with our network of national publications: outdooradventuremedia.com

- Online advertising sales for: blueridgeoutdoors.com, readbreathe.com and elevationoutdoors.com

- Develop new client business though our marketing services agency, Mountain High Media: mountainhighmedia.com

Qualifications

- College degree required

- Experience with media sales is a plus

- Superior written communication and computer skills
