Very, very few vehicles patrolling the course on a brutally hot day. Not a good event for average cyclists but a decent race for the hard-cores. Centurion blew it if they hope to attract more riders. The support for the front running bastards was fine. And it was nice to have somebody hold your bike at the aid stations. But the support for the lantern rouge riders was non-existent.
