I agree, skinny for packed days, fat for pow days. Chose the tool based on the conditions! You have to have the right tool for the right job.

I love a fat ski every day!! with the right side cut, you can carve a fat ski on packed day. My ski of choice everyday packed and powder, the Armada JJ, with rocker in the tip and tail you get a 14m turn radius and it’s great everyday!!!!

Amazing, people still use skinny skis!!!! And they still think they’re good! LOL! What a joke! Today’s fat skis can carve just fine on hard pack and kill it in the trees and powder. If you don’t understand this you’re waaaay off the back. Give Buzz and TBD 10 years and they’ll probably start talking about a “new” technology they’ve just discovered called “rocker”. The only reason to ski on anything under 100 underfoot is if you’re a competitive racer or trying to make the US moguls team.

Skinnyskissuck you seem to be lost in your own little world. If fat skis rule on a packed day. Why then do world cup level skiers still use narrower skis to win FIS races. A narrowwr shaped ski will out carve any fat ski on a paked day hands down. You need to add some tools to you limited box.
