Boulder’s Fun (beer + grub) Runs

I know, it’s not everyone’s idea of fun. But running can be made less painful if done in a group, and the pain might vanish completely if the run is followed by beer, especially if it’s half price. Right?

If you find yourself in Boulder, Colorado on any night of the week, there is a group of folks who are waiting with open arms and sneakered feet to welcome you to their run.

Not only are the runs a great way to get a workout in; social interactions abound. If you’re new to town, you can meet like-minded folks. if you’re visiting, you can garner local insight on must-dos in town. And, if you’ve lived here for 15 years, you might run a stretch of road or a section of trail you’d never thought about exploring before.

Just be sure to tuck a couple bucks into that little pocket on your shorts; beer and pizza (tacos, ice cream, etc.) fulfill the nutritional requirements (carbs and protein) necessary for optimal recovery. Happy running!
