Denver: Make the Ruby Hill Bike Park Happen! (Urgent!)

Tomorrow, Tuesday, July 30, there is an organizational meeting at the down town REI (1416 Platte St) to help make the Ruby Hill Bike Park a reality. At 6:30 p.m. you can check out the latest plans for the upgrades and improvements at Ruby Hill (located south of downtown, just west of Santa Fe). Denver Parks and Recreation hopes to build a world-class mountain bike park on the site, in the later phases of construction.

Denverites, your input is essential! We put through an entire 1996 master plan process and revision in Boulder, only to have efforts fall short. It wasn’t until the 2006 master plan that we finally got a bike park included in the city’s development of Valmont Park. Here’s your chance to get some great cycling infrastructure within the city.
